羅斯（大衛(wèi)·休默 David Schwimmer 飾）決定和邦妮分手與瑞秋（詹妮弗·安妮斯頓 Jennifer Aniston 飾）復合，可因為瑞秋讓他認錯而依舊分手了。菲比（莉莎·庫卓 Lisa Kudrow 飾）成為了弟弟小弗蘭克和艾麗絲的代孕母親，人工受孕懷了三胞胎。羅斯與英國女孩艾米麗相戀，決定在倫敦結(jié)婚。由于懷孕的菲比和有舊情困擾的瑞秋的兩人留在紐約，其他人都趕赴倫敦參加羅斯的婚禮?；檠缟?，摩妮卡莫妮卡（柯特妮·考克斯 Courteney Cox 飾）觸景生情，竟和安慰她的錢德勒（馬修·派瑞 Matthew Perry 飾）發(fā)生了一夜情。意識到自己仍愛著羅斯的瑞秋決定飛赴倫敦挽回。但當她看到幸福的新人，決定不擾亂這個婚禮。但最后在羅斯在做婚禮宣誓時，卻將艾米麗的名字說成了瑞秋......
